We all hear lots of talk about being authentic and building meaninful relationships on the social web…
But my one question for you is; are you feeling it?
Do you feel your customers?
Do the relationships your building online right now with your social media efforts move you?
If not, you need to dig deeper!
Here’s a good example of what I’m talking about:
Michelle Ainslie (@michelleainslie) is a blogger I’ve recently been introduced to and I was moved by her work. She’s not just another business/ social media/ blah blah blogger out there.
She’s wrapping the insights and content she shares with her own daily experiences of building her own business and it makes a big difference; and it can make a difference for you too… I would definitely recommend her blog to solopreneurs – check out: Be YOU – No Stings Attached
There’s lots of folks on the surface, but the surface doesn’t penetrate the hearts and minds of the marketplace.
The social web is drown in mediocrity.
The only way to rise above medioctity is to move… and be moved. That my friends can only be accomplished by one human, being moved by another.
Here’s another great example of how to move people with your work:
Many folks are already familiar with RedHeadWriting – Erika Napoletano (@RedheadWriting). If you’re not, you’re in for a treat. She doesn’t try to be all things to all people. She’s a brash outspoken gal/ rockstar who lets 110% of her personality shine through her work. Try to copy her, I dare you!
She’s not for everybody and quite frankly she doesn’t give a crap. She’s found success and comfort in just being herself and it has made her one of the web brightest stars.
Check out this guest post she did for Jugnoo.com and you’ll see what I mean: So, I’m Supposed to Write This Guest Blog About Personal Branding…
So anyhoo, I think you get the message: MOVE PEOPLE WITH YOUR WORK!
I would love to hear your feedback, opinion and insights in the comment section below!
